The same passion that goes into avoiding hell is clearly put into accepting the grace of God in this message.

See also my comments on Romans. I believe this sermon needs to be included because it is a very good and articulate message about grace but also because it should be included for the same reasons I gave on Romans (the historical value in terms of grace in the Churches of Christ).

Another reason for including this message is because some who have difficulty embracing grace in a way that frees them from legalism need a message as forceful as this one in order to let go of legalism and embrace a grace based hope. This last point is similar to an observation I will make on Harold McRay’s sermon entitled “How Powerful is Our God?”
